From 12-14 June 2023, the Helmholtz AI Conference 2023 took place at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) in Hamburg. Dr. Cihan Ates and Joel Arweiler presented their research results on the topic "Similarity-Based Framework for Unsupervised Domain Adaptation: Peer Reviewing Policy for Pseudo-Labelling".

The dependency of AI models on labelled data is a well-known problem that complicates the integration of such methods in various areas of applied science and engineering. In this project, we at ITS are therefore working on automating the time-consuming labelling process and making it possible, for example, to use synthetically generated data for training AI models.

The Helmholtz AI Conference brings together AI researchers from various disciplines within the Helmholtz Association once a year.
