The new lecture "Boosting the Modern Energy Landscape via Turbo Machines & Machine Learning" starts at ITS in WS2023/24. In this lecture, students will acquire knowledge in the field of radial machines as well as an introduction to selected methods of artificial intelligence. The knowledge acquired will be deepened in the course of the semester in a practical part, which will take place on a real turbocharger test rig at the ITS, among other things. During this practical part, students will use a suitable machine learning model to predict the "pumping" flow phenomenon based on measurement data.
