After a 3-year break from Corona, we were at SPHERIC 2022 in Catania, Italy, which was held for the first time again. SPHERIC is a three-day workshop dealing exclusively with the Lagrangian Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method. At our institute, we use the SPH method mainly to investigate complex multiphase flows that occur in the turbomachinery context. Karthik has extended its usage to a different engineering problem and presented his work  "Thin Film Flow Dynamics in Gas-Liquid Contact Reactors". The outcomes of the investigation is being deployed to finalize the design of an experimental test rig within the scope of CO2Abs project.
